FIFA World Cup 2022 Schedule: FIFA World Cup 2022™ is the biggest event in international football and will be taking place from 14 to 28 November 2022. The tournament will be held in the Asian Republic of Japan, with 12 teams competing for the trophy, which will be awarded to the winner at a final match between the two finalists.

The first phase of this tournament was held from 14 to 28 May 2022, with 24 countries participating. The second phase was held from 7 to 30 June 2022, with 48 teams participating.

The third phase was held from 21 June to 11 July 2022 and featured 32 teams that were divided into eight groups of four teams each. The top two teams in each group advanced to a knockout stage that culminated with a final match between the winners of each group and one team from another group.

In total there were 64 matches played over three phases during this event – 31 qualifying matches (42 games), three group matches (4 games), and one knockout match (5 games).

The FIFA World Cup is held every four years and involves 32 teams, which are split into 16 groups of

Four teams each. The group winners progress to the knockout stage, where they meet each other in a single-elimination tournament until only one team remains.

This year’s tournament will take place in Qatar from 2nd December 2022 to 15th February 2023.
